Imagine this.

A reality in which “I” is reference to the centripetal Self-awareness of Source.

“You” is reference to the centrifugal Self-awareness of Source (or “God”/”Goddess”).

Put another way, “I” is the introspective arising of Source or Creator consciousness, and “you” is extrospective arising of Source or Creator consciousness.

“I” is the Father or Masculine principle extending “outward”. “You” is the Mother or Feminine principle extending “inward”.

“We” is the coming together of the Masculine and Feminine principles—or polarities—of awareness. “We” is the inherent marriage and unity of “I” and “you”. The underlying and inherent unity of “I” and “you” are pre-existing and omnipresent and omnitemporal. Experientially, at the level of Human perception, there may be a “coming together,” which implies the coming together of that which was previously separate. However, this is an element of maya or illusion—of reality appearing different from how it actually is. Ultimately it is simply a shift of awareness. In the “I” One is aware of Self (as the totality of Oneness) through introspection. In the “you” One is aware of the Self (as the totality of Oneness) through extrospection.

In such a reality you and I are One. We is a word used to express that Oneness in the perceptual realm of multiplicity.
