You may have read the info I share on how to support your body to have strong healthy teeth. Perhaps you even read about my toothpaste recipe? Did you try making it? Either way, my global search for an excellent toothpaste has ended – for now. I’ve look in many countries around the globe for what I consider to be a good toothpaste. Until now, the only one I found without glycerine was in Italy. I think the actual toothpaste was made in Germany. I’ve not found that brand anywhere else.

However, now I’ve found what I consider to be an ideal toothpaste.
Good old “Uncle Harry” delivers the goods with their natural toothpaste. The recipe they use is very similar to the one I invented myself when attempting to come up with a paste that would meet the following criteria:

  1. Must not prevent re-mineralisation of the teeth. This means NO glycerine. Dr Judd identified that glycerine coats the teeth in a thin film through which calcium ions can not pass into the teeth.
  2. Should be antibacterial
  3. Be free of the toxic and enzyme destroyer known as fluoride (sodium fluoride, monosodium fluoride, etc.)
  4. As a bonus, had ingredients that may assist in re-mineralisation of the teeth

Uncle Harry’s tooth paste fulfils all these requirements. I now add a few other experimental ingredients to my home-made DIY toothpaste which Uncle Harry does not use. But these are experimental so I am yet to conclude what effect they have. If you don’t feel like making your own toothpaste as described on my site, or elsewhere, then Uncle Harry’s is the ONLY store bought toothpaste I currently recommend. I’ve not seen it in many shops. I found it in a great health food store in Santa Cruz, but haven’t seen it elsewhere. You can get it on-line and learn more about it on the Uncle Harry site, here.

If you try it, let me know what you think of it.
