I have seen it report from multiple media sources that in the 2000 US elections over 1,000,000 (1 Million) votes were not counted. Over 180,000 of these were from Florida alone. Internationally there was a lot of controversy in the media as to whether George Bush had a legitimate win to presidency or whether the uncounted votes would have swayed the outcome to being in favour of Kerry. This controversy was hardly reported in the U.S.A. and was quickly forgotten.
Now a great deal of the voting is being made through electronic terminals. Bruce Funk, who was an Election Official for his county in Utah, raised some serious issues he saw in the Diebold touchscreen voting machines. After identifying a memory problem with some of the machines allocated to his county he asked that the voting terminals be checked out by an expert. You can see the results of that story in the following video:
An accountant by the name of Athan Gibbs come up with an electronic voting solution which provided a paper based audit trail, effectively solving the problem that Diebold’s machines introduced by having no non-electronics means to audit the votes counted. Athen is now dead. He died in a car crash. My guess is that the most likely cause of death was assassination. Yes, I am implying that I think it is likely the car crash was intentionally set up. By who, I can not say.
So what are the ramifications of all this?
I’ve written elsewhere that I do not think the USA represents a true democracy. I’ve stated before that I think the whole fiasco of elections in the USA is a scam set up to divert the mass consciousness into focusing on false issues and false ideas. So what the above mentioned issues (those shown in these videos) shows is further confirmation of the my opinion about the U.S. politics, and it adds to all this the question as to who is pushing so hard to ensure that there IS NOT an audit trail in the electronic voting systems the U.S.A. is now utilising? The only reason I can think of for NOT wanting an audit trail is because someone wants to be able to rig the vote counting without it being found out. God bless America… they need it now more than ever.
